I doubt there would be much difference due to convection. The main difference would be I would be pushing hot air off the CPU and GPU onto the cooler disks.

Almost everyone who wraps makes a mess after about 5 indentations. I've yet to see a newsreader which wraps sensibly - that's never to wrap a single word (or more importantly a URL), or any line which has been quoted, unless it cleverly rewraps the whole paragraph by pushing one word all the way down several lines.

This shit is what I see regularly from many people:

>>>>>> Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah
>>>>>> Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah
>>>>>> Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah
>>>>> Reply reply reply reply reply reply reply reply reply

etc.

Notice some blah is now attributed to the person who wrote etc.

I also see:

Morality is a belief almost as silly as god.

Then choose to pay for them. Most people would pay if the free fire service was taken away.

I use common sense. Explain to me how a mask knows which way the virus is going. And why don't you just wear it inside out?

In the UK, that sounds like a motorway leading to London.

The Audi A4 is also stupidly named, since it's a sheet of paper.

Would be interesting to see... though not enough where it is worth the effort.

Subject line changed. To break obnoxiously long troll thread.
Masks avoid TRANSMITTING DARWIN-19. If EVERYONE wore a mask,
it would never have become a pandemic.
If fact, nobody would even need to wear a mask anymore. The
disease would have died out from lack of transmission.
But there are too many people out there trying to prove Darwin
was right. Kudos. They're doing a fantastic job, so far.
95% of all fatal victims are anti-Vaxxers.

There's also the vehicular consideration of a small, closed ventilation
environment, especially when the A/C is running... on an older vehicle...
with accumulations of dust [dead skin cells included] and oils over the
years which would be a haven for viruses to lie dormant then abruptly
dislodge, unfiltered... Are you going to carry passengers? Are you going
to a drive-through fast-food outlet?

How many people disinfect their vehicles? (While remaining outside the
vehicle using a spray can of Lysol while the A/C is running on MAX for a
few minutes...)

It's all boiling down to a risk vs. gain contemplation because we're not
really getting solid scientific information inasmuch as we are constantly
being innundated with highly slanted opinions... Especially from this crop
of media-whore "doctors" trotted out by our mainstream propaganda outlets
and especially by ersatz "Conservative" media who seem be locked-and-loaded
against any ideation this "Liberal" government proffers...

And WAY TOO MANY "studies" are being withheld...

We're immersed in a culture where most people have been indoctrinated on
WHAT to think - and they rely heavily on government and media to tell them
WHAT to think - instead of being taught HOW to think, gather information -
from ALL sides of any given issue - and formulate a viable conclusion which
consists of a Plan-A, Plan-B, Plan-C, etc., etc., etc...

It's a day and age when people need to look out for themselves and for each
other because the petty political squabbles are overpowering real-life
issues we are being faced with; to wit, SIMPLE SURVIVAL! Republicans want
us to "rock it out and walk it off" while Socialists want to tax and spend
our way into oblivian and countless future generations of back-breaking
debt...

The statistics coming out of India aren't very relevant because they didn't
use the mRNA type vaccinations that we in the US did. (By the way, the
Johnson and Johnson vaccination is not an mRNA vaccination - which further
muddles the calculations...) Also, sources in India are now admitting that
their methods were sloppy and hasty and their standards were lower than
might have been expected because of their haste... This is where the "Delta
Varient" seems to have originated. The Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech seem to
be more effective against the Delta mutation than the Johnson and Johnson;
however no verified "studies" have been commissioned... It's all aggregated
using reliable anecdotal reports.

There's 'vaccination immunity' which varies depending on the type of
vaccination; 'natural immunity', contained by certain lucky individuals;
'acquired immunity', obtained by encountering the disease and surviving it
[or, like with flu shots over the years then encountering a whole different
strain of influenza - you still have some protection from the worst of its
potential symptoms]; 'shared acquired immunity', derived by a transfusion
from someone who encountered the disease and survived; and, 'adaptive
immunity', like being vaccinated for smallpox using the cowpox organism...
There remains the possibility of 'diminushing immunity' which could be
caused by any number of factors including individual biology, the type of
vaccine, a person's general medical history reacting to the vaccine... Or
the virus substantially mutating.

This is may be why some people who have been vaccinated are testing
positive, or getting less-serious afflictions of shorter duration... It
should be proof enough that immune people can still carry and transmit the
virus, and in any case, we should all continue to keep our guard up until
this pestulance is more fully contained.

The spiking numbers in the USA are almost all unvaccinated, and now
disproportionately younger adults and children... That should instill a
healthy fear in most reasonable people. Especially if you have any familial
connection to any young people who have not been vaccinated.

We are still dealing with an organism that has only been in existance out
in the open for less than 2-years. How long did it take humanity to
control other pandemics and at what cost to us until a solution was arrived
at?

Wearing a mask is simply a simple thing we can do to protect ourselves from
contracting the virus; to help contain the spread of the virus if we are
latently carrying it; set a positive example for others who are
legitimately concerned [or should be]; and help people who are vulnerable
feel more safe.

It's such a small thing - a petty sacrifice - when weighed against the
looming possibility of more government shutdowns of our society and
economy.

I'm dangerously close to being in favor of government mandated masks and
vaccinations because like everything else in history only a few idiots can
cause such collosal havoc for everybody else.

Perhaps they're simply not aware or they simply don't care. Either way, we
all suffer from their bad choices. Such choices are too many times based on
a lack of accurate or just plain evil misinformation.

Taking a deep breath and zoom out to ~50,000 ft. altitude, WHO do Americns
think is causing all this "controversy" over masking and vaccinations? It
wouldn't be the same CCP that unleased the bioweapon in the first place,
would it? Oh no, that couldn't happen in our perfect system of things...

OR COULD IT? ~35.5 million cases and ~620,000 deaths in the USA and
someone is almost certain to call me a "conspiracy theorist".

M'k.

What? I did nothing out of my way, it was no more difficult than building any other computer. Half of the computers I built were to specs provided by the customers. I'd have a few standard ones I recommended, and people would say they particularly wanted a certain MB, GPU, etc.

> But you only managed to get one version of macOS running on it.

I installed the latest, I saw no point in trying an older out of date one, and I could hardly try one that wasn't out yet.

There is nothing more annoying than my parrot imitating a microwave bleep every 2 seconds for half an hour.

I don't guess that things fall down instead of up. I don't guess that faster moving air cools something quicker. I go by logic and experience.

No, I'm refusing to make a mountain out of a molehill. I won't do something to prevent something so trivial. Just as I don't build a nuclear fallout shelter.

It would get stronger if it was required to be used. At this rate we won't be able to fight off a common cold.
