Possibly. Which is why have to do everything to stop spreading the virus
and giving it the chance for new variants to arise.

The current vaccines are still effective against the newer variants.

It might. With heuristic scanning it can identify similar viruses.

That's why you update the software. Same with vaccines, if the dominant
variants drift too far away from the vaccine's effectiveness then we get an
"update" (booster). Simple and effective.

You can have one as long as you have a purpose for it. So a hunting rifle
or a ahotgun. No handguns or semi-automatic rifles.

You'll need a licence and complete background checks which take a few
months to complete. You also need to be prepared for an annual police visit
to check you're storing it correctly.

That is contrary to his idea on anything is OK but murder.

Thanks -- but I am talking philosophy not what actually is. Still, good to
know what is. :)

If you had insurance with fire protection, you'd phone up and say "there's a forest fire coming", or they'd already know. To protect themselves against having to pay for the damage to your house, they would chip in to put the fire out.

You could if you wanted. But if a lot of people did that, there wouldn't be enough money to put the fire out and it would be cheaper to just pay for the lost houses. So, up to you, freedom of choice.

Yes. Because masks aren't one way. That would be black magic.

Any wrapping annoys me. This post from you for example leaves the right half of my monitor plain white. I think it originally came from retards that have trouble following their eyes along longer lines.

No, it's all forced air, I just choose which things need to be kept cooler and which generate more heat. My fans do switch off or run very slowly when it's not thinking hard though, so there probably is convection, but I didn't design it for that, I only concern myself with the higher temperatures, since minimum speed fans are silent.

Either way avoids the hot mess coming from Gremlin, above.

What is the value in watching people needlessly suffer and die?

One need not believe in a god to have morals... in fact such a belief, I
think, can often get in the way (which is not to suggest religious people
cannot be moral -- many are!)

The cost of the house would be FAR less than the cost of the work to put out
the fire. Many times less.

Unless many people get the insurance the value goes down. More damage and loss
and suffering.

I prefer to have less suffering and better services.

See: too many people deny the evidence and think only of themselves for the
libertarian ideas to possibly work.
