Those immunities can't be created with artificial vaccines.

The flu strains we typically see are far less deadly.

Influenza kills something like 290,000-650,000 people each year.

COVID-19 has killed 4,330,000 people in something like (let's be
generous) 21 months or 2,470,000 people in a year.

That's just less than 4 times as many people as the worst flu seasons...

....and that is WITH all the steps that have been taken.

Imagine what the death toll would have been if we'd done nothing.

Yes, actually, they can.

Immunity to a pathogen is a result of the body learning to recognize a
foreign protein in order to produce antibodies quickly enough that it
cannot gain a foothold sufficient to cause too much harm.

The cells in your body that learn and then remember the proteins to
which they will produce antibodies don't care how those proteins were
introduced to them.

A live exposure to a pathogen (say chicken pox) means your body learns
to develop antibodies to it.

An exposure to weakened viruses (or viruses sufficiently close to the
one for which immunity is truly desirable) does the same thing.

<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attenuated_vaccine#Viral_vaccines>

The mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 cause the body (for a couple of weeks) to
replicate protein spikes from the outer shell of the SARS-CoV-2 that are
what the body's immune system builds antibodies to bind regardless of
how it learns about them.

Maybe we should do some of it? Flu kills a staggering amount of people most
years.

The droplets are in the air, when the air moves slower, the droplets can obviously get stuck on the mask more easily.

Is that really so mysterious for some?

Google, like the rest of Big Tech, is routinely throwing a blanket over
very many very legitimate and very relevant discussions... Depending on
which way they perceive the Progressive/Socialist/Liberal winds to be
blowing... It's crazy how instead of reviewing all the input before making
decisions many Americans are choosing a position based strictly upon
political party lines - as the corrupt media tends to slant and report
events... no matter how obtuse and random Dr. Fauci's media campaign is
this cycle. M'k. Fact-checking Fauci should be a growth-industry by now.

On the "common cold"... The rhinovirus - more appropriately "rhinoviruses"
(or is it "rhinoviri"?) are Legion. They go so far back in human
evolution... way further than when "common colds" were attributed to
"demons" and "doctors" literally bled patients hoping to cure them.

Likely what the antagonist is referring to is a report of a variation of
influenza in the early 1900s spreading into the Eskimo population before
the medical community had identified, diagnosed, and publicized the
specific virus, "influenza"...

It was called the "Spanish Flu" NOT because it originated in Spain, but the
major world powers, INCLUDING THE USA, were censoring any news from
government agencies and/or news media about the rampant disease. Had to do
with wartime considerations and the many military conflicts in that
timeframe...

Then the Spanish media refused to comply with government demands and
international pressure to suppress news events and medical opinions,
testing, and studies, and eventually overseas travellers brought back the
news to the USA until the government simply couldn't keep a lid on it
anymore - and MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAD ALREADY DIED. That's why it was
dubbed "The Spanish Flu", not a particular strain, but how the news finally
got out.

You have to think about the fatality numbers in the context of world
populations back in the 1900s compared to now to appreciate that the
percentages of people affected and reported by some manner or means was WAY
HIGHER than the ratios of COVID-19... Then there's the fact that it took
decades to come up with a viable treatment for these infections.

Media recently headlined "More Florida and Texas Children Were Hospitalized
Than at Any Time Since the Pandemic Began".

The numbers were 142 children in Texas and 135 in Florida. In one county
it was reported the numbers of children had QUADRUPLED! It went from 4 to
15...

Likely as not, these cases were connected to antivaxers and/or antimaskers.

The statistics we are getting fed right now are so tampered and so
slanted... For instance, we see the numbers of hopitalizations are
spiking, but what government and media omit is that hospitalization times
are way down, and recoveries are way up.

Like with the current COVID-19 pandemic, current influenza fatalities and
serious illness are almost totally confined to those who have NOT been
vaccinated - coexistant physical afflictions excepted.

A primary factor for consideration is that the time from influenza
infection until symptoms present is usually a very few hours - depending on
variable health factors.

The time from COVID-19 infection until the onset of symptoms could be
around 14-days, but certainly quite a few days, providing way too much time
for spreading the disease before any symptoms present or constructive
action is taken...

Everybody who are accurately informed about this but remain not concerned
likely have serious atypical personality disorders - so maybe that's the
bright side of the apparent collective dystopian dysfunction that
persistently abides in our midst refusing to protect themselves and others
due to lame "arguments" and erroneous "facts"... At least attrition will
be culling them out at a faster rate than the accurately informed and
eganged population...

Then maybe we can get our country back from the Socialists and Fascists who
seem to be controlling our national dialog.

Whoever don't matter, it most assuredly emanated from the wrong orifice.

Just wish he'd stop bloviating bullshit. If he want to embrace the
Darwin Award, so be it, just do encourage other clueless to join suit,
because the consequences extend beyond them...
