Here, you need the Hunter Safety course, before you can acquire
your first long gun. That teaches you how to carry a weapon at
a minimum. The weapon spends most of its time, pointed at the
ground, and not exactly pointed at your own feet either.

This would be an example of how not to carry weapons. The reason you
don't carry weapons this way, is you could trip, and if the safety is
off, and the weapon has a hair trigger, you could shoot a member of
your "team" in front of you. In fact, I would think video of these
two, could easily be featured in just about any training course
one could imagine. Because of the mistakes they made. Even a person
who has played paintball, when they see video of these two, they'll
tell you the same things.

https://c.files.bbci.co.uk/13B30/production/_114088608_fb0cd11e-d463-45dc-becf-34aa6199d45f.jpg

Gun safety is not optional. My brother is a gun collector (of sorts).
Normally, he kept his guns in his room. But for some reason, he
committed not one, but a number of mistakes one day. He takes his 22 rifle
downstairs. He's sitting on the livingroom couch back home. There is
a live round in the 22. He's not really that stupid, so he was
probably cleaning or checking the movement or something. The round
wasn't in there for a nefarious purpose. He would not normally
be chambering rounds in the house. I don't know if the weapon has a safety.
Anyway, the couch is a wonderful place for a nap, so with loaded gun
and chambered round, he falls asleep on couch, rifle in hands.
Once asleep, the rifle falls out of his hands. Barrel (pointy end)
pointed towards his head. Rifle falls onto the carpet. Rifle discharges.
Barrel has moved away from his direction. Bullet embeds in livingroom wall.
But there could easily have been a different outcome. He could have
become a statistic that day.

I think you can safely say, the sound of the gun discharge,
was a wakeup call :-/

To a small degree. The main point is that your mask only protects one
person receiving the virus (you) whereas it stops you spreading it to
pretty much anyone you're in close contact with. It's a very uneven
equation in favour of protecting others.

And even with you it protects the mouth and the nose but not the eyes. And
with the mouth and the nose air still comes in from poor fitting (common).
Even with a poor fit your droplets tend to not go NEARLY as far. This is why
it is best to have a mask AND social distance.

We believe direct impacts because the government and media lie. "First hand experience" is the only thing you should ever believe.

I disobey any law I believe is wrong. Do you really stop at a red when the whole junction is empty?

Here's another way to go through a red safely - if the person in front goes through on green, you can go through as it turns to red, and so can hundreds behind you. The other direction won't just start driving into a continuous line of traffic.

As long as you don't kill people with them.

In the old days there was no safety. You just left the first barrel empty, so you had to pull the trigger twice.
