I'm using slrn and nntp.aioe.org on a Debian VPS and also locally on my

Just joined. Decided to use Eternal September since it is free for
text-only usaage.

Using tin as my newsreader on WSL-2 (Ubuntu 20.04). Had some difficulty
setting it up. Have documented my steps if anyone is interested:
https://abidmujtaba.blogspot.com/2023/12/installing-configuring-and-using-tin-to.html

Looking forward to engaging with Gemini.

script to the mix.

I use the Eternal September server with Thunderbird (More specifically
the Betterbird fork) on Ubuntu 22.04

I have the program load on startup to make checking my email inboxes,
RSS updates and any posts on newsgroups I'm in as part of a daily
routine. :)

Same as well. I used to use AIOE before it... died. I've only recently
been able to bring myself to use something else. AIOE was just so cozy.

As for the reader, yeah thunderbird, but thanks for mentioning the
forks. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to look into that. I mean,
I use a fork of Firefox (Librewolf and love it), so why not TB? I've
messed around with Claws Mail, but that's about it.

I use ES/Thunderbird too. It's very simple to set up.
