My initial response is, "You have to be kidding."

But if you're willing to waste the time, I guess, "That's your
problem."

Elsewhere within this thread, I believe you mention some of these
multitudinous accounts involve both Gmail and Yahoo, and their
requisite OAuth2.

Yet you mention TB chokes while you need to enter passwords? You
present those manually? The pair above insist on inserting their
specific *token* as a saved password.

You seem to have truly confounded the intent of TB's structure.

Huh?

Accounts might be (probably are) for varying addresses... so incoming
messages/emails won't go to *one mixed account*.

Maybe he messed it up with the setting of "unified inbox", which is available
since some years.
Whatever. It seems to me that he's got nearly no knowledge of the concept
of accounts, folders, views and configuration of those in Thunderbird.

Having to enter eleven passwords every time one starts Thunderbird is a
nightmare. It is very easy that one fails entering at least once, and
then to get confused about which account it is asking the password of.

Hardly, I seldom have to restart TBird. Months may go by before I do.

And TBird prompts you for which account it is asking.

My bigger issue is that if TBird does not have a password for a
given account initially, it fails to request that password 'n'
minutes later when it should poll for new mail; it just skips
it. The same is the case when I use the Get New Messages for All
Accounts. It's not true when I check a single account; if that
one's password was missing, it prompts me for it.
