Having just come back off holiday and with some, likely, expensive repairs
on the car required, I went for the FOURTress lite. This allowed the
replacement of my rather ancient 17" monitor (No HDMI input) with a nice
new 22" Samsung.

I will upgrade when more funds are available but at the moment I have
connected up the 120G SSD I have extracted from my Iyonix. At least that
has saved the copying of large numbers of files around!

At the moment the USB-SATA converter is only USB2 but I have a USB3
version on its' way from Fleabay

Good to hear.

I have tested these and you need to change the user agent within !Iris to
access these two websites (I had the same issue with the Argos webiste)

I changed the agent to:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)
Which seems to be the lowest user agent available!

Remember when selecting the new User agent double click on the line to
make it the actual user agent in use. Then you MUSt open a new window to
access the website you want i.e. CPC or Farnell in your case.

You can obviously try some of the other user agents available if you want.

Interesting. I know nothing about user agents. Where is there an idiots

I think the 'user agent' is just the browser's self-identification
string, like the task name which an application supplies to the Task
Manager - or the arbitrary From line specified in an outgoing e-mail.
And since it's just a piece of text, a browser can claim falsely to be
anything it likes, which may gain you access to sites which attempt to
use the user agent as a means of filtering (e.g. on the grounds that if
they've never heard of your browser they can't guarantee to be able to
support it, and would thus rather not let you render their HTML in case
you might complain that it's not working on your system....)

At the moment there is very little information/guides available for !Iris,
but the six User Agents that are available in 'Iris - Choices User agent'
give a clue to how they work. You could obviously add your own such as
'Edge' if you really must.
