Amazon is forever so I found a three star review of Rockwell's 'Against
the State: An Anarcho-Capitalist Manifesto' I wrote ten years ago.

Rockwell is an acolyte of Rothbard. I think of libertarian history as the

towards Bookchin. There is an amusing if dated book, 'It Usually Begins
with Ayn Rand', that's an account of the early days of the Libertarian
Party.

I'm currently trying to read Isabell Patterson's 'The God of the
Machine'. I say trying because while she had no engineering background
she uses a weird metaphor about power transmission to explain society. She
was a mentor of Rand before they had a falling out, which was par for the
course with Rand. Never trust anyone who names themselves after a
typewriter.

I didn't care much for Rodgers since he was a Green Bay Packer, and my team
(sadly) is the Chicago Bears. He was a great quarterback, and apparently close
to Mensa material (not that that means a lot). But, like everyone, he has
locuses of unsound thinking, and that came out with his lambasting the "woke
mob" for dinging his lying about his vaccination status.

A guy on our team, nice fellow, reasonable, had a Ph.D. in physics. He was also
a Catholic, and his wallpaper was something like Jesus on the Cross, IIRC.
Didn't bother me, but did it bother others?

Even my dentist said the county Covid Czar was working way over her
mission, training, and intelligence. She ultimately was fired as she had
been previously fired by every hospital in town.

By the nature of their job dentists have a good grasp on hygiene and do
not need to be schooled by an idiot.

Neither my dentist or doctor were upset that I'd not taken the shot. They
asked, as they were mandated to, and moved on.
