Cheers for that, made me laugh :)

But they are typical Apple, a triumph of image over ability, just like most
of Apples products which are no better than the competition, just twice the
price for the same functionality (and I speak as a Mac owner but I just wanted
a *nix whereby the mainstream consumer apps just worked unlike Linux where
the OSS guys try their best but often its not enough).

IME you find Dunning-Kruger in full effect with the sales staff in large
computer stores. Seems to me that because they can parrot all the acroynms
they think they know what they're talking about and understand computers.
Sadly its usually not the case.
