Prezados, bom dia
Estamos desenvolvendo um estudo e precisamos extrair dados de CTDIvol e DLP de exames de TC por meio do cabeçalho DICOM, uma vez que não acessamos as imagens dos exames, apenas os relatórios de dose.
Entretanto, observamos que nem todos os fabricantes de tomógrafo informam claramente, por meio da TAG DICOM, os valores de CTDIvol e DLP de cada exame no relatório de dose. Sendo assim, poderiam nos informar se há algum caminho padronizado via DICOM para obter de forma segura essas informações?

Hello Letícia,

there has been quite a transition in the way to store dose information in DICOM during the decades of its development.

Nowadays, dosis information *should* be found in a Radiation Dose SR (RDSR) object which is stored with the images.
Formerly, the MPPS service was intended to include dose information. Since MPPS could be considered as the "counterpart to worklist", this information may not be stored in the PACS but in the RIS.
Finally, I am aware of CT Scanners (Siemens) which store dose information in a rasterized image (if I remember correctly, referred to as "patient protocol".

So it may depend on the manufacturer, model and software version of different scanners where you can obtain this information.
