Well that's certainly something to think about, ugh. Should discuss in WG-4.

It seems that Google has successfully "googled" themselves, this is now a verb that either means to perform a WWW search or to unexpectedly cancel one of your projects.

According to this article, they intend (for now at least) to support WebP and AVIF, likewise giving up on WebP 2.
