Hi all,

I thought it might be of interest to this community that Imaging Data Commons data release v7 is out, and it introduces digital pathology images for all of the CPTAC (https://proteomics.cancer.gov/programs/cptac) collections available in DICOM/TIFF dual personality format.

All of those standard-compliant images (>2TB total) are available publicly, can be searched using IDC portal (https://imaging.datacommons.cancer.gov/explore/) or IDC DataStudio dashboard (https://datastudio.google.com/reporting/04cf5976-4ea0-4fee-a749-8bfd162f2e87/page/KHtxB), can be visualized without having to download them using open source Slim viewer (as an example, see https://viewer.imaging.datacommons.cancer.gov/slim/studies/2.25.211094631316408413440371843585977094852/series/1.3.6.1.4.1.5962.99.1.208792987.352384958.1640886332827.2.0), and can be either analyzed in the cloud, or downloaded for free (download instructions here: https://learn.canceridc.dev/data/downloading-data).

If you are interested in publicly available DICOM radiology images, we have about 20TB of those as well.

Original release announcement is here: https://discourse.canceridc.dev/t/idc-february-2022-release/252.

We are very interested in your feedback and suggestions for the further development of Imaging Data Commons!
