Greetings,

I'm working with Phase Contrast MRI.

I understand that rescale slope and rescale intercept are used to rescale the images back to their original values.

However, and in what concerns PC MRI, I wonder if this rescaling operation will always take place. In other words, can I find PC MRI that doesn't need to be rescaled?

Looking to the answer that Dan Konigsbach gave in this question https://groups.google.com/g/comp.protocols.dicom/c/iTCxWcsqjnM?pli=1 ] , "when they (rescale slope and intercept) are present" - I assume that we might find MRI images that were not scaled [please correct me if that's not the case]. Does this also apply to PC MRI?

Thanks,
LBrandao
