Really? That's great to hear. I'm very fearful of dementia...I feel like I can see the trait in my father already and he's in his 60s. Or maybe he's just a doofus.

On another topic entirely, watching my parents get older every time I see them is heartbreaking.

Losing my mind and having dementia is my biggest fear. my mom worked in a nursing home and brought me through the crazy ward when i was a kid.

I really do believe that if you keep your mind active you are less at risk of becoming that way. Or, at least you will stave it off.
