Cool, the Sony ECM-LV1 definitely sounds better... may be able to use a cheap USB dac for input with it on devices without a dedicated jack. I've found even the $8-10 ones are often better than the ones on say the front of a PC case.

I usually just use the ones on my Bose QC headsets, which is "good enough" similar for their sound. Mostly in that they're comfortable to wear and the sound is generally above average, even if there's better sounding headseats for the price, or less... most that I've tried have always been uncomfortable or much worses noise cancellation.
