I think they had rebooted Spiderman a couple times? That bugged me a bit. Also I just wasn't really into the Spiderman movies as much as other superhero movies. I think the 1989 Batman with Michael Keaton is still one of my favorite superhero movies (and Superman 4 with Christopher Reeve).

michael keaton is a fucking awesome actor.
he nailed batman on the head.
he can really tap into some dark shit. he was great as the vulture too.

I heard they're (finally) making a sequel to Beetlejuice, with Michael Keaton and Wynona Rider returning, set to be released next year.
I'd been hearing rumors about this since around 2012 or so, but now it sounds like it's actually happening.

With the SAG-AFRA strike(s), I think almost everything is on hold and may not see nearly as much this next year or so. Would be happy to see another Beetlejuice all the same.

I just saw some articles today that say filming for the new Beetlejuice is almost complete, and Tim Burton said the movie is 99% finished..
