I'm not sure about this working. The OpenSSH process has communication issues on NonStop and does not always work - I'm not sure why; however, it also cannot be located in /usr/bin as far as I know, as that is considered a man in the middle potential problem. The object is hard-coded to be in /usr/local/bin/ssh for the 1.0.2q OpenSSL build. You might have more success using NonStop SSH as a client/server in this case. /G/system/zssh/sshoss is the program for the client. You can also go to GNSC directly for help making SSHOSS work.

Hi Tone,

I´ve been reading your chats in here.. and I am trying something with TMF like the procedures described here. I was wondering if maybe you still have the chance to send me the program/code related to Audit Reading that you also shared with Shiva.

Thanks so much in advance. Greetings!

Hi Everyone,

Wget 1.20.3 is now available for OpenSSL 3.0.x. Prior versions for OpenSSL 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 have been replaced.

The source is modified so there is also a source distribution package if you need to build this yourself.

Hi Everyone,

RSync 3.2.7 is now available on the ITUGLIB website. There are three builds for each platform (TNS/E and TNS/X): OpenSSL 3.0, OpenSSL 1.1.1, and OpenSSL 1.0.2.

I hope to see everyone at TBC on Sept 11 in Denver, which is the same date that OpenSSL 1.1.1 goes into post-support mode. The only OpenSSL versions after that date, which are supported, are 3.0.x and 3.1.x. If you need security fixes for other versions, contact me directly.

Hi All -

With the migration to the L-Series (X86), the manuals indicate that debugging using Visual Inspect will no longer be possible.

When attempting to debug using Eclipse (using instructions from NSDEE manual) there seems to be an issue with how Eclipse invokes the debug session and which CPU is used.

Has anyone experienced this? Or are you using Eclipse debugging without any issue?

Thanks,
John

The latest patches for the OpenSSL 3.0.x and 3.1.x series are now available on the ITUGLIB website. Release notes are available at https://www.openssl..org/news/openssl-3.0-notes.html and https://www.openssl.org/news/openssl-3..1-notes.html.

Both releases contain fixes for CVE-2023-5363 (Moderate) - Incorrect cipher key & IV length processing described in the release notes.

The 3.2 series is still in alpha state. If you are interested in testing with this series, please let ITUGLIB know here. This series is not binary compatible with the 3.0.x and 3.1.x series, so you will need to recompile your code to use it. At present, we are not planning to release a 3.2 build until it reaches beta state.

The 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 series are no longer under official support, and do not receive security updates, so you should move off those releases. If you cannot move off those releases, please contact me to facilitate fee-based premium support from OpenSSL to obtain patched builds.
