I agree with Mayayana.

I'm sure that many of the people here have other interests too. Should all
of those people be allowed to just dump their interests in car repairs, dog
breeding, gardening, cooking, etc, etc, etc into this newsgroup ?

Furthermore, all of those Windows versions *have their own newsgroups*. If
anyone wants to keep up-and-abreast of what happens with those versions than
they should *fricking subscribe to those*.

I also think that, as long as there is no W11 newsgroup (yet), all the news
about it should be posted in W10 - as the people there are most likely to
want (or be forced) to advance to W11.

Personally I could not care less about W11 (several reasons). The fact
that I'm still using XP is a bit of a hint in that direction.

Besides: having a number of /reposts/ into multiple newsgroups causes and
all kinds of seperate info streams and, more importantly,
seperate/duplicated discussions. Which isn't all that usefull.

No chance at all. Win 10 is nothing like XP. Most of the inbuilt stuff is missing.

Unless you happen to want some of that "inbuilt stuff" (what: Media
Player?), that shouldn't be a problem. It won't "look and behave" like
XP "out of the box" (more like 10 I think), but I'd be surprised if
either some of the current shells (Classic or its replacement, Stardate
or its replacement, etc.) don't work, or something'll rapidly appear
that does the same thing, letting you change look and some aspects of
behaviour - ditto ShutUp10, deBloat, and the like.
