My problems launching Xorg-server under FreeBSD 12.4 have lost
their workaround and it looks like I'm compelled to upgrade to 13.2,
but would this make my Seamonkey 2.53.x stop working?

(Seamonkey was dropped from official FreeBSD ports just before 2.49.5
but I have a 2.53.14 (I think) running).

It sticks in my mind that something 13.x stopped supporting may
be an issue.

I always build SM from sources without trouble on FreeBSD:

pythagore:[~] > seamonkey --version
Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.53.16
pythagore:[~] > uname -a
FreeBSD pythagore 13.2-RELEASE-p2 FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE-p2 GENERIC amd64

JKB

Thank you,that's a relief...
though my upgrade to 13.2 has been stalled on file merges!
