Isn't there a danger of numerical overflow ?

Then there will be the inevitable arguments about what
the coordinate system should be. If all the reports say
"it is traveling 1100 MPH and is hanging from a wire on
the ceiling of my room", maybe the coordinate system is
poorly chosen.
