In the past few shutdowns, I've seen lots of stuff fly by on the window when shutting down. The
font is way too small and too quick to read. There must be a log someplace.

I'm reading in the mint forum that after the local files system is shut
down, there are no logs to read; *but* there might be something useful
in systemd's journalctl.

A reply suggested using journalctl -b and then optioning -n250 to get
the last 250 lines (or some smaller number if you want less)

https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=268587 Is there a shut
down log?

I found using: journalctl -b-1 | grep systemd
works pretty good. But it shows both startup and shutdown. Seems like a dirty shutdown.
I'm looking at things. I just did some changes in the past week, I'm thinking of reversing them.
More to come.

What about using a phone or camera to video the screen during shutdown,
just in case journalctl doesn't record everything? Would it be fast
enough to pick up all that text so you could play it back slowly and
view it?

I'm running kernel Linux 5.15.0-100-generic
I changed to Linux 5.15.0-97-generic and no errors on shutdown now.

So I guess I need to make a bug. Thanks Jeff.
