Hello,
Whenever I switch to another view in Composer, it changes the formatting
of the code in the Source view. While it's admittedly more orderly, it
bugs me to hell and back. I wanna know if it's a feature or a bug and if
there's a way to disable it from doing that.

Try "Preserve original source formatting" in
Edit->Preferences->Composer, under "When Saving or Publishing Pages".

I believe it has always done that, and by-and-large it is something I
welcome. The auto-indenting and line breaks make the source easier to
read. The one problem I have with it is that Composer happily inserts
blank lines after longer lines, save the document 5 times and there are
liable to be 5 blank lines in several places in the source.
If the long line is a link, adding: target="body" after the href="url"
is usually an effective way of stopping this behaviour.

Looks like it works the opposite way than how I expected (Enabling
'Preserve original source formatting' changes it, while disabling it
preserves it.)
Thanks a tonne!
