I am currently some testing with ZIP of en-US SeaMonkey 2.53.18 Beta 1
Pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/91.0 SeaMonkey/2.53.18 Build 20230707110003 (newly created User
Profile), Default Classic Theme on German WIN10 64bit.

Really great progress compared to .17! Thanks a lot to all devs

I've never tried the beta releases, but each time there is a
new regular release, I most always get a few pleasant surprises.

For such a small group of programmers, these guys hit a hell of
a lot of home runs!

For example now Do work again:

Some of us wimps only install "official" versions and are stuck on .16.
Looks like I'm going to be reading up on Release Descriptions soon.

LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and some more work for me with a fake User
Agent "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:117.0a)
Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.53.18". I use add-on "User Agent Switcher
[converted] 0.7.3.1-signed.1-signed" to switch between User Abents if
Necessary.

I wonder what changed; Several websites which previously were broken now
work as intended (including my bank's webpage!).

Thanks for all the hard work. BTW I am using W9Gs beta 2.53.18b1.

No. Very few sites might work when you enable dom.serviceWorkers.enabled but
the implementation is still inclomplete so I would not recommend it.

Most sites usually break now because of missing support for dynamic imports
(mercedes-benz e.g.) and shadow dom. mdn seems to now use js class fields
which is bleeding edge. Why such a site for cross browser support uses this is
beyond my understanding but it is mozilla after all...

Shadow dom needs the new style system. Very frustrating. In theory we have
most of it in place bus still does not compile because of the everchanging
rust language. So needs more backports.

Trying to get BigInt and support for dynamic imports in next which should help
with lots of sites. But next is probably not next week :)
