hierarchy gated from Fidonet. Feel free to write me your peer requests with
to gatekeeper@fido7.org.

Also, please update your "moderators" innd config file string to:

fido7.*:%s@fido7.org <mailto:s@fido7.org>

Next i will update the outdated PGP signatures for fido7.* hierarchy to
manage the control messages with pgpcontrol, they will be announced later.

Was it down?

I just checked it, currently it works fine. It just runs an old-ass
version of INN, BIND9 and sendmail.
All these services should be upgraded due to security reasons.

I know, that's very hard because very old OS, but I will try :) Now they
were just patched without version change.

and dependependencies. Most of them are not workable on new OS.

Why don't you just move the services you can to another system?
INN2, sendmail and BIND can run on current version.
What special software runs on that UNIX (which one?)?

There are much more than just inn2, sendmail and bind. Lot of scripts and
binaries compiled with old libs, they need to be rewritten first.
