My system is currently on Windows 11 22H1. The latest upgrade always fails,
and the troubleshooter can't seem to figure out what is wrong. Since 22H2
is available, can I download the iso and unstall it without loosing any of
my current data, etc.?

I downloaded the 22H2 ISO to an empty SSD I had laying around. Supposedly,
I can just mount the ISO and run the upgrade program. Anything I should
worry about?
