The mitthesis class formats an MIT thesis according to the current requirements
of the MIT Libraries. This class is new in 2023, and it is a complete
replacement for the original mitthesis.cls written in the 1980s.

This update corrects minor bugs and incorporates some recent changes to the
abstract page, set by the MIT Libraries in July 2023. All users should update.
