About zero against SeaMonkey code itself. There are bugs but nothing which
really impacts the core source

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&chfieldfrom=2018-01-01&chfieldto=Now&f1=component&list_id=15949575&o1=notequals&product=SeaMonkey&query_format=advanced&resolution=---&v1=Web%20Compatibility&order=changeddate%20DESC%2Cpriority%2Cbug_severity&query_based_on=

The problem is backporting existing stuff form upstream and this is done as
fast as possible. The other option would be to make the code compatible with
upstream. That happens too and Bill builds this daily but so much has been
destroyed or taken out or is changed on a daily basis that I personally don't
think you will see a SeaMonkey based on latest mozilla code any time soon. And
if you see it it would be much much worse than today and crippled. You could
probably just switch to Vivaldi then and have web compatibility and a suite
like application.

Where was the original post? From google groups it looks like it was
netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey but the post doesn't seem to be there
now.

And that makes me wonder why alt.comp.software.seamonkey is not on
google groups but netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey is.

Because they're still using the list of newsgroups that came with DejaNews?

Does Google Groups even update its newsgroup list? IIRC, W11 isn't there too.

I hadn't noticed Google Groups didn't have this group.

Heh, this might possibly help alt.comp.software.seamonkey stay
SPAM-free!
