Is there a documented procedure to copy a draft email from one machine
to another remote machine with no networking connection of any sort?
TIA

Both running SM, or maybe TB, etc?

1. Select message(s) on machine#1
2. File>Save selected messages>EML format
3. ... magical export *.eml to machine#2 ...
4. Drag and drop EMLs to Drafts on machine#2, or

The method proposed by Dirk Fieldhouse is much safer and more portable,
and less likely to overwrite, or trash a locked file. I'm not even sure
that Drafts is a folder, looks like a file.

As the 'Inbox' is a file (containing all the e-mails, one after another,
with the 'Inbox.msf' (I think it's '.msf') file being the Index for the
'Inbox', I believe), I would also expect the 'Drafts' to be a file as
well (with a matching 'Drafts.msf file).

And did I suggest doing a Back-up of the Profile *BEFORE* doing
anything?? ;-)

Being open source, and using standard file formats, you can of course
create your own elaborate api and/or manipulate mailboxes and indexes,
but if it's for a single message it's much safer to use the built-in tools.

Just a simple idea:
Suppose that the mail object (Title) is : Holydays 2023
and suppose that both machine have the same mail account
1. Change the mail oject as follow : [DRAFT] Holydays 2023
2. Sent this mail to yourself
3. Move the sended mail from the "Send" to the "Draft".
So both machines will have in their "Inbox" this "draft"
Further to be nearly identical, the "unconnected machine" can
move the received mail from the "Inbox" to the "Draft".
