I have lost the key for my Agent 8. I tried emailing but I *believe*
it is no longer supported. I would not be averse to paying again (as
it is such a long time since I last paid) but is the purchasing
process reliable?

There is a way to find the key in the registry. Let me look for the

Sorry, but my IT skills are limited. Can you tell me where the DATA
folder is (I have a copy of the disk from my old computer)? Can I
still import or should I uninstall and reinstall Agent?

Agent is a 32bit program so it would be somewhere in \Program Files
(x86)
I do installs another way for certain programs Agent and Ham Radio. I
have Agent installed in C: \online\ Agent
This way I always know where \Agent \Data is

This seems to be a result !!!!

I used the Windows search tool to find the file and inside the file I
found the registration key. I just copied it into the version of
Agent already installed, which now shows as a licensed version.

Same here. That allows you to simply copy everything in the Agent folder onto a
USB stick and copy it to a new PC. It avoids the confusion of having parts of
the program in your user folders.
