I am running Windows 10 current version. With Windows 10 it has
always been problematical if you could pair two Windows 10 computers,
because the Bluetooth pairing window was to small to show the pass code
to complete the pairing process. Because of the Bluetooth pairing
window's size you could not see the accept button.

Has this been corrected in Windows 11

They prefer to make more paths in the state diagram, than fix anything.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/pair-a-bluetooth-device-in-windows-2be7b51f-6ae9-b757-a3b9-95ee40c3e242

"Swift Pairing" is the latest thing.

At one time, general purpose TCP/IP networking over Bluetooth did not work.
It was working the last time I tried it. So rather than "Send To" (fsquirt.exe)
being the only worthwhile function, you could actually run a File Share
over Bluetooth networking now. No, it does not run very fast, and
any of these activities are Bar Bet material.

Mis-windowing was noted after some update a couple years ago.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-bluetooth-pairing-dialog-box-too-small/356d66a8-56a8-40af-92af-8b57ac36182a

You can see the Test Team at Microsoft, easily caught that error
while testing the changes the developer had made. Thank goodness
for the Test Team. <crickets> Oh yeah, they don't have a Test Team,
just the tea lady in the cafeteria reports errors in the Pairing Window.

Comedy Gold. "Does the PIN on "Galazy S8+" match the PIN below?" What PIN below ???

https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/5c8e3f2c-ae75-4da0-8552-9b43fedcb002?upload=true

This suggests to me, to test for such a dialog, I would be advised to attempt
to pair a Windows PC to a Phone, as the test case.

Just for you, I booted two Windows 10 PCs and... the damn things were already paired.
No opportunity to test a pairing. That means I would probably be forced to test
with a Phone, to get the irritation to come back.

Looks OK to me but it may depend on the screen resolution and display
magnification setting.

I just paired my smartphone, and on my the Windows 11 laptop, the
pairing window is in full view and about the size of a (old style)
Command Prompt window, but rotated 90 degrees, i.e. height is greater
than width.

When pairing the other way around, i.e. from smartphone to laptop, the
pairing window on the laptop is smaller, but still in full view, i.e,
not missing buttons as you mentioned earlier. The size of this window
is about half that of a Command Prompt window in height and a little
less in width.

Bottom line: No worries.

OP: The Bluetooth pairing problem has been going on for some time. I
can pair smartphones, mice, etc to that computer. The problem only
occurs with PC to PC pairing. I have researched the problem many times
and never found a solution.

You stated that the problem was "the Bluetooth pairing window was to
small to show the pass code".

That Bluetooth pairing window on the *Windows* side ("Pair device?")
is also what you get when you *initiate* the pairing process on the
*smartphone* side. That's why I tested pairing from both sides. From
Windows to smartphone, you get a big white window. From smartphone to
Windows, you get a smaller - but still big enough - black window.

I don't do sceenshots on websites, but here's the pairing window in
ASCII-art:

"Pair Device?

Pair device?

Does the PIN on "Frank's Galaxy A51: match the PIN below?
956911

[ Yes ]{ Cancel ]"

I don't have two Windows 11 systems, only Windows 11 and Windows 10,
so I can't fully test your scenario, but I'm sure my smartphone to
Windows 11 pairing test proves the "the Bluetooth pairing window was to
small to show the pass code" problem is solved in Windows 10.

On Page 2 here, someone fixed it by adjusting Ease Of Access
DotsPerInch setting back to 100% scale. It's possible the
dialog is affected by the desktop scale setting.
