Ralph,

Long time since I tried to access auorfa and forte.private.beta.cafe and when I did (last
message dated 2022) Agent kept telling me no servers carry it.

Has Forte change everything?

Did I miss something?

The forte* newsgroups and server have been offline for a long time.
AFAIK Forté did not communicate about this. I'm guessing it's game over.

Thanks Ralph,

I had a ransom attack - how I have no idea as I was using that fantastic (sic) windows
anti virus on my server - none of the other machines on the network were affected - they
were running AVG so I am rebuilding the server from past posts to newsgroups luckily
Forte80 and easynews are still running.

The forte.beta seems dead as does the private cafe which was very useful again I still
have all the really useful stuff from the cafe group is anybody wants it.

Can't seem to find a half decent email program where I can lay it out like Agent - T-Bird
is OK but the adverts annoy me and the left pane for folders gets cluttered with the
server name then individual spam, sent, deleted folders and by the time you put in your
own sub-folders from inbox like Inbox/power company, Inbox/cars/BMW etc it gets too
cluttered especially if you have more than one email address.

At least with Agent you can send everything to "INBOX" then divert to other folders/desks.
