Hi Experts,

I am trying tagpdf via latex postscript (tex => PS => PDF).
I am using miktex2.9 with dvips and below is my sample tex file.
Getting tagpdf result but I noted the space in para text missing while copy & paste the content into txt from PDF.

If I remove the first special line: \special{...Catalog} then the space appears but the pdf property shows tagpdf=No. Is there any other way to achieve tagpdf=Yes in LaTeX/DVIPS/PDF without affect this space.

The unit step function u(t) is very useful in representing causal signals and signals with different mathematical descriptions
over different intervals.
\special{ps: [/EMC pdfmark [/StPop pdfmark }%

Please advise.

dvips doesn't support real space chars. It depends on the PDF viewer
how this is handled.

No. Be aware that you don't get a tagged pdf only by adding
something to the catalog. You only *claim* that the pdf is tagged,
but without a tagging structure this claim is a lie.
