Just wondering if the "Forte Private Cafe" newsgroup is still in operation
or is it not a news group any more.

I haven' had any mail or messages since 9-17-22 or 17th September 2022 for
those in the UK.

I go for "get new email" and nothing happens then "Get new headers" and get
the window "no servers carry this newsgroup"

What's up doc???????

Just as a matter of interest, I tried via Tools/Newsgroup Directory
and nothing comes up for it. HTH

I've never heard of it before, and when I just searched for it, I also
didn't find it. However let me point out that not all news servers
carry exactly the same set of newsgroups, so just because neither you
nor I can find it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist on other servers
than those we use.

The one private server which it was on is now off-line. If you get the
error you describe, you must have disabled or removed that one server
when it went off-line.
