Agent 8 needs only a small configuration change. See this post:

If you were running Agent 8 on Windows XP or older then this might not work.
Agent uses Windows' implementation of TLS. Windows XP did not support TLS 1.2.

Provided you make the configuration change in your Agent 6, Agent 6
will support TLS 1.2 in Window 10.

Provided you make the configuration change in Agent 8, Agent 8 will
support TLS 1.2 in Window 10.

You do not need to upgrade to Agent 8 for TLS 1.2. But either way
you will need to make the configuration change.
