With my most recent Windows 11 update, Agent 8.00/32.1272
isn't decoding nzb files. When I try and launch filename.nzb, I get:

Unable to execute command
C:\Users\david\AppData\Local\Temp\filename.nzb

Any thoughts? I'm working around the issue for the moment by importing nzb files into NZBGO with news.forteinc.com as the host server, but it'd be nice to have the original functionality back.

First see if you can do this:

1. In Windows 11, go to Start >> Settings >> Apps >> Default Apps
2. Scroll down to the bottom and open "Choose defaults by file type"
3. Scroll down the list of file types to find .nzb
4. Click the box next to .nzb
You will get a pop-up "Select a default app for .nzb files"
5. In the pop-up, select Forte Agent and click the button "Set default".

If you do not see .nzb in the list of file types (step 3),
or if Forte Agent is not an option in step 5,
then you will first need to re-install Agent 8.00 over top of itself
using the Agent 8.00 installer "agentenu800-1272.msi" (11,272 KB).
This will set the registry entries which "Default Apps" needs to see.

After you have re-installed Agent 8.00, steps 3 and 5 should work.

Thank you so much--that put me on the right track! The .nzb file association was pointed at D:\Forte Agent\agent.exe, but I had moved Agent to D:\Program Files (x86)\Forte Agent\agent.exe for consistency with other apps on the D drive. Moving Agent's location back fixed the problem.
