Version 4.0 of diffcoeff adds a package option enabling a small space to be inserted by
default before the differentiand, prevents the inappropriate forming of the ligature df
when f is the differentiand, adds a differential command for \partial, and no longer
accepts a brace-delimited final optional argument (a relic from v.1).
