A search like "windows xp vpn" is a good start. When using that search in
DuckDuckGo, the VERY FIRST RESULT is:

literally as long as it takes for you to type 14 characters and press Enter.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of honest info on
VPNs on the web. The web is well salted with marketing
crap and fake sites extolling this or that.

There is one guy here, with extensive VPN experience, but
it might be the wrong kind of experience to answer this question.

Just finding a trial one, doing a few downloads, and tossing
the trial aside, is likely to be about as far as you want
to push these products. Don't sign up with anything that
needs a CC number for "security purposes".

When it comes to form-filling websites, sometimes they put
the innocent info up front, then after you've entered
all that info, the next pane that comes up asks for the
CC number, so you "have something invested in the form filling".
My bank pulled a schtick like that once, for which I kicked them
to the curb the same day, and "pulled" my stuff to another bank.
