Agent 6 WinXP ng microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
On 20-08-22 some 18 headers appeared starting Yankee Doodle+didadida
I bunged in a kill for Author omitting the bracketed part.
Agent found 900+ items to delete, I thought that sounds a lot and did a
"find" on the same filter same group on the View all Messages pane.
No more finds at all.
Anyone know what Agent is searching to find so many targets when a kill
filter is added?

I could not replicate the "900+ items" here in
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general.

But Agent would have found find 900+ items if the kill filter for
Author had also omitted the part to the left of the @.

Thanks vm Ralf for taking a look - I have now found my problem - I had
not done an Apply filters to all groups run for some time (? years) and
as I always use the global, time unlimited setting for Usenet filters -
Agent was finding stuff from previous global un-applied filters in the
group as well!
