IBM states:

J26/J27 = 2-3/2-3 => 50 MHz
J26/J27 = 2-3/1-2 => 60 MHz
J26/J27 = 1-2/1-2 => 66 MHz

By setting the fourth option

J26/J27 = 1-2/2-3

the system runs at a 33 MHz CPU base clock.
Darn, was hoping for 75...

Bus/CPU Speed MHz Setting

Is there a reason why the board component outline follows the arcane IBM
location diagram, instead of the [sl]eazier to understand method used on
the Ardent Tool?

Example:
2 (J15) Modem Ring Detect connector

How about:
J15 Modem Ring Detect connector

Well, it's simple. Nobody bothered to make a proper outline...

But I have a PC750 meow, so that's gonna change soon(tm).

Christian, is the second bus/core ratio jumper (J30) populated on your
board?

https://www.ardent-tool.com/PC750/#Jumpers

Also, can you please czech what the FRU P/N and board P/N is on yours?

No, not on any of my boards.
I have three, with one being stored far away right now. I will check once I have it in my hands again.

The ones I have here have a white label near header J14, and they say

8133493 (Earlier version with S3 86C864-P Vision864 video)
8133761 (Later version with the 86C868 chip)

Not sure if it's a P/N or FRU though...

Hmm, I don't think that's a P/N. IBM used the following format during
this era: nnXnnnn where n is a number and X a letter (usually F, G, H,
or X). But there are some exceptions to this rule (like the thin-carrier
Synchrostream chip used on some T4 "Y" complexes).

For example my PCI/MCA PC750 planar has the following P/Ns on it.
-one side of the riser connector: FRU P/N 40H4759, P/N 06H9588
-near the front edge of the PCB: P/N 40H4755

But IBM loved to move the stickers around. Or silkscreen some of the
numbers directly onto the PCB...

"12H1954 IBM FRU 55" on the S3 864 board, near the CPU
"40H4759 IBM FRU 55" on the S3 868 board, near the VRAM.

It's also an "88G4270 IBM FRU 55" and it has the 864 video chip.
