Just sent an email to a large group (including myself), attaching a
JPG image. Opening my own copy I see stuff like this, below the main
text, where I expected to see the image thumbnail.

While waiting for complaints, would appreciate advice please. Can I
expect this gobbledygook stuff to appear in my friends' more modern
email programs?
