Hello, my Alpine connection times out -- Alpine then counts seconds from the last connection. Then I have to answer "Yes" when given the opportunity to break with the server.

This is with an iCloud account.

Is there a way to maintain a more reliable connection?

Thanks! Rob

Alpine is telling you that the connection is not reliable. It is not the
cause of your issue. You need to investigate if your router, for example,
might be the reason why your connection is not reliable. Alpine needsa
permanent connection to the server, otherwise what you observe is what
happens.
