"And it still works! Current consumption rises to ~1.3A to reach 6.4W. I
also tried running the Pentium OD at full speed (33.3 MHz FSB for a 83
MHz final clock) but unfortunately, it only runs for a couple seconds
before crashing. There is no doubt that the crash come from the missing
power supply pins, but being able to run it at 63 MHz on the UCA is
quite impressive! "

Wish someone would build powerleap copies with matching heatsinks...

With the fan removed, the PODx3 runs at the supplied FSB speed (25MHz for a POD63, and 33MHz for a POD83) with no clock multiplier. You would think a 3-pin fan connection would be power and a tach signal, but it is an absolute mess of additional components. The page refers to the tested CPUID value (1532h), but not the Intel S-specs and steppings:

S-spec SZ953: POD63, stepping B1, CPUID 1531h
S-spec SZ990: POD63, stepping B2, CPUID 1531h
S-spec SU013: POD63, stepping C0, CPUID 1532h
S-spec SU014: POD83, stepping C0, CPUID 1532h

Note that the POD63 gives the same CPUID with steppings B1 and B2 - but the Intel datasheet lists S-specs and steppings that were produced for reference.
