I have just tried to mark a thread as Ignored using "i" as indicated in
the right-click
drop down menu and it fails. Using the right-click submenu works just
fine and the pop-up appears indicating it has worked. I tried using "b"
for "ignore subthread" and the same applies. I have no tried any other
of the right-click functions using shortcut keys yet. Am I missing a
setting somewhere, or doing something stupid (could well be, no-one is
exempt from old age :-) ), or do these keys no longer work?

Using Thunderbird 115.9.0 under Windows 11

That works. Presumably having ruined many useful things in the upgrade
to v.115 no-one bothered to change the bits of the GUI that matter. Do
you happen to know what the letter is for "ignore subthread?" Thanks for
the "k" anyway.

IIRC "Shift + k" is for ignore subthread, I can't test it on a phone.
