Here we go again, Mint 20.3 Cinnamon

When I right click the desktop and choose Customize from the context
menu there is a box with the option "Reset grid spacing" when I click on
it *nothing* happens.

I would like to change icon spacing ass they are too far apart.
Any Idea why this doesn't work?
Any workarounds to do this ? Thanks for any help.

I'm assuming your issue is when Auto-arrange is engaged. Correct?

Either way on or off, clicking on 'reset grid spacing does nothing, no
dialog box or anything else shows up.

For me that make no difference. As on I can widen both horz and vertically
and the the restset bar works as it should.

Screen resolution, might have something to do with it.

And when you move the scrollbars at the bottom and on the side of the
window, still nothing happens?

Well there's the rub, When the customize box showed up I saw the button
to reset the grid which I clicked on and it turned grey as a button
should, I was expecting a change of some sort, but nothing happened, I
did not notice the scrollbars at the time which were there all along, so
i figured the button was not working, Something new in Mint, a _Do
Nothing Button_.

The design of the 2 small white circles is a really piss poor choice,
they should be black or a color and the scroll bars thicker and ditch
the none functioning button, in any case, Yes the scrollbars and sliders
do exactly what I needed.

OK I tried about 6 different themes, lught and dark, no change, the
sliders are the same in all of them, a small circle outline with white
center.

But that's OK now that I know where they are.
