Hi,

I would like to upgrade my ubuntu 18.04 on my odroid to the new lts
(22.04 ?).

I tried do-release-upgrade, but i have this :

root@odroid:~# do-release-upgrade
Recherche d'une nouvelle version d'Ubuntu
There is no development version of an LTS available.
To upgrade to the latest non-LTS develoment release
set Prompt=normal in /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades.

Why have I not the last LTS proposed ?

Emmanuel

I don't know much about the Odroid single board, but the 'conventional'
way of upgrading from 18.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS is 18.04 > 20.04 > 22.04.

Exactly, especially since there is some major changes from 18.04 and 22.04.

Edit /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades to 'lts' is best to stay on
LTS versions

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y && sudo do-release-update

Take care,

Something is faulty, but don't worry.

Replace all "bionic" with "focal" in /etc/apt/sources.list and all
files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. Then run

sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade
