Has anyone3 got one of these,.wired or wireless
I'm just thinking of getting one , but want to know which one is better.
Some people say wired but others say wireless.

What are the limitations of either, like how long is the wire which I
assume you plug onto the mains somewhere.

Thanks

They tend to store the video in The Cloud. That's why they have privacy ratings.

They're not mains powered. This diagram shows a traditional transformer.

Note: The first generation used a power resistor.
This is why we Google "ring wiring diagram", before we buy.

The device may have a lithium battery in the button section.
This article tells you which models don't have the pesky battery onboard.

The electrical aspects are your first challenge :-)

The privacy aspects will make sure your bath robe
is fastened firmly when you go out to pick up the
newspaper off the front stoop.
