Running 2.53.15 under Linux, Private Mode, uBlock Origin as the only addon.
I clicked on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhEG4jHnAnc and Seamonkey
died then and there.
I have also seen this version of Seamonkey do the same thing on another
site. There are 5-6 videos on *that* site, I have not tried all of them
but most work and one consistently kills Seamonkey.

about:crashes does not even pretend to work, it looks very much as
though it was not compiled in.

It happens with multiple youtube videos (I have not found one which
works, but only tried a few).
Disabling uBlock Origin 1.16.4.30 changes nothing.

Don, I clicked your link, above, and (after the double-dose of ads) I
had no problem with the clip.

Were you in private mode?
Not that private mode seems to be the cause in my case.

Ok, after more tests:
- I tried Youtube on a second machine, simply going on to the site is
totally painless but as soon as I try to look at a video, *BANG*. No
uBlock Origin on that machine.
- Two days ago I looked at some videos from another site on this
machine. One killed Seamonkey, at least two more did not. One of the
two which then worked now kills Seamonkey.
- openSuse also has a "Mozilla Test" repository, I just loaded a newer
Seamonkey (from yesterday) from there. No change.

What has changed in the last 45 hours? A couple of library updates,
that is all. Looks like I'm going to have to change my settings to "no
autoplay of Videos under any circumstances".

Here are the values from the "production" Repository

Downlevel to Rust 1.66.1 or use 2.53.16b1. Workaround in there:

https://gitlab.com/frg/seamonkey-253-patches/-/commit/ad8c88d4ad606d24f7ae784a41eaeb06776881f5

and fixed with later cubeb libs in 2.53.17b1pre.

Rust 1.67.1 causes the crashes.

Just use the beta. Nothing reported against it. My plan is to take 2
additional security bugs and set minimum macOS level back to 10.11 unless IanN
has other plans. No macOS testers came forward checking 10.9 and 10.10.

Probably in the next 1-2 weeks otherwise.
