Yesterday I got 2 emails from Mozilla, saying I needed to update Firefox
by March 31. Then saying something about sync not working with versions
less than 78. Strangely, the first came just a couple of hours after I
upgraded to v123.

Do I still need to do anything?

You're fine. Automated emails are sometimes off balance if you know what I mean.

As much as I'm on Linux, I'm on 123 also. IMHO if you're on 115+ you're fine.

Are you sure that email actually was from Mozilla? I'm sure you're
aware that From addresses are easily spoofed.

I see that "Big Al" thinks it's just a poorly worded message from
Mozilla, and that's certainly possible.
