It's really a battle of a "smartphone model" versus what
Linux users expect. The idea is to turn all the desktops
into "AnderOids". With much squeaky noises and footdragging.

can see vultures circling in the sky now... You know there is
carrion on the ground.

IBM buys RedHat.
Canonical wants to do an IPO.
Microsoft ships bash shell [cats sleeping with dogs].
And so on.

OK, for you kids playing along at home, now is a good time
to add EXT4 support to your copy of Windows, so you can use
Windows as your "maintenance OS" and move your files to /home :-)
