This happened to me today... i discovered that i was making an
over-generalization (a real-life theory) based on maybe 10 data points.

it concerns how a software-tool behaves... and my theory seems quite
good, but the person who made the tool pointed out the
error in my over-generalization (a real-life theory).

Maybe you can suggest some ideas that are related to this,
in AI (philosophy) or Cognitive Science. Thank you.
